I flashed the official latest Novempatch on my S9+ using the phone's bootloader in download mode and Odin software. Need a fix.Įdit 7: It seems that I have been able to SOLVE the issue. This issue only began after the samsung-pushed November 2021 security patch was installed on my phone.Įdit 1: Forgot to mention that I also updated all my apps through the play store. Note 1: The phone was not dropped, nor exposed to any water over the last 24 hours. If anyone in the future reads this and needs help, hopefully at least one of these places will have a solution. X-posting into S9, Samsung and SamsungSupport. Any information you may have would be greatly beneficial. This is pretty jarring and perplexing as it's basically rendering my phone unusable. Is there an issue with this November patch which they're working to fix? My phone has never had any issues with patches before and none of my other samsung devices I or my family members have have had any issues either (Note 5, S8, S9+, S10, S20 5G).
Random apps show up at the bottom and keep popping up like "Facebook keeps stopping" or "Bixby service keeps stopping" or "Google play services keeps stopping" and these messages pop up repeatedly as you press close, spazzing the phone out. So far I've done a few planned restarts, run device care to show no issues, cleared cache, reset device settings (without deleting my data).

The phone restarts at random times, I believe since the update its probably restarted over 30 times. Since that update which the phone is saying was 'the last successful update' in the update history section, the phone has gone mental. I was recently prompted to update my phone to the latest "November 1, 2021" security update which notes it'll stabilizes the phone, update security, etc etc. As mentioned in the title, I've got an S9+ Snapdragon (Canadian) variant which I've had since launch month which has given me no issues until yesterday.
